Travel is quickened by the heart’s impulse
To encounter the unpredictable, participate in daily routines with the local population, discover a culture, create with artisans, walk through inspiring magnificent landscapes, savour the silence, meet with monks or Brahmins, artists, experience new cuisine, be a special guest of a ceremony (birth, marriage, annual feasts)…these too are all part of travelling with Alaya Holidays.
Our team is mindful of the people, the lifestyles and environment of the destinations we propose. For this reason, we have personally chosen our partnering countries. Together, we share the same goal of travel and hospitality : to evoke marvel in each being.
We rely upon the respect for all, for the local economic development, the balance between men and women, and for the education of children. This all-embracing respect is based on listening to the needs of the local people and have them be understood. We act in this manner, as it is essential that we support them by providing the necessary materials they require, fabrics, products, medicines, and foods. It is our way to improve their daily lives while appreciating the essence of their origins, and to form lasting relationships.
We Care for Your Safety
Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore, when it comes to keeping the overhead costs of our trips low, safety is the one area in which we simply do not compromise. Our guides are selected based on their technical proficiency, proven safety records, impeccable judgment, their friendly demeanor and their ability to provide helpful and knowledgeable instructions.

Our Commitment to Social Causes
Tourism is an important sector of the Nepalese economy, and as an organization that has been involved in this sector for over two decades, we believe it is our duty to contribute to the Nepalese society in some way. We contribute 2% of our annual profit each year to a non-governmental, non-profit making organization committed to educate and care for those children orphaned by natural calamities and other causes.
