This trial goes through various traditional Tamang villages where you are not treated like an outsider but as one of their own. You can actually experience the rich culture and tradition of the local there and enjoy beautiful Tamang crafts which can serve you as an inspiration on its own. Also, this trek takes you to visit beautiful antique monasteries as well as challenge you with getting into the wild zone of alpine region, smooth grasslands and rhododendron (national flower of Nepal) forests.

Kathmandu Arrival (1400 m/ 46 00ft)
After landing at the airstrip of Tribhuvan International Airport, you need to move towards a line to let officials perform custom formalities. Upon completion of visa and custom formalities, you will head towards exit of Arrival Hall. Our representative will be waiting for you. Please look for your name in the placard that will be holding by our representative. He will greet you and escort you to the three-star category hotel. Welcome drinks will be served. After refreshment, you will receive briefing regarding your trek. Stay overnight in a hotel.
- Day 2
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
This is the day in which you will closely observe the medieval city of Kathmandu by participating in an exciting sightseeing tour. Out of 10 UNESCO sites in Nepal, 7 lies in Kathmandu Valley while 4 of these sites exist in Kathmandu. On this day, you will visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath, holiest Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, 2500 years old Buddhist shrine of Swoyambhunath and the ancient Royal Palace at Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will get time for trek preparation and shopping in the afternoon.

Drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBesi (1440 m/ 4724 ft)
Heading north from Kathmandu, we will follow PasangLhamu Highway where we will be greeted with scenic views of hills, rice terraces, rivers and tribal villages. We can see Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Tibetan mountains. In about 8hrs, we will reach Syabrubesi via Dhunche. Dhunche has the largest settlement in the area. Stay overnight in Syabrubesi.

SyabruBesi to Gatlang (2238 m/ 7342 ft)
Tamang Heritage Trek begins from SyabruBesi. In about couple of hours, we will reach a view point named as RongbaBhanjyang. We can enjoy scenic views of Ganesh Mountain, Gosaikunda Mountain Range and pretty Goljung valley. Another hour long walk along moderate trail will take us to Chauhattarewhere we will stop to take lunch. The trail for Gatlangvillage continues further for one and half hour and passes through many Tibetan influenced dispersed settlements. Enjoy the local hospitality at Gatlang village and stay overnight at a lodge.

Gatlang to Tatopani (2607 m/ 8553 ft)
Leaving Gatlang, we will follow the scenic path to Thambuchet (1768m) which is located near Chilime village at the edge of Bhotekoshi River. The popular Chilime hydropower dam is located at this place. We will have thrilling experience of crossing a suspension bridge before following the escalating path uphill to Tatopani. There is a natural hot spring located at Tatopani. Water from this spring is believed to have medicinal value. Stay overnight at Tatopani.
- Day 6
Tatopani to Thuman (2338 m/ 7670 ft)
From Tatopani, we will climb uphill to the top of NagthaliDanda (3165m) which is a vast expanse of meadow. We will enjoy the views of Langtang Mountain and proceed further to Brimdang(2,848m). After taking tea break at Brimdang, we will continue our journey to the Tamang village of Thuman. A Tibetan influenced village, Thuman is inhabited by friendly locals who love singing and dancing. Stay overnight in Thuman.
- Day 7
Thuman to Briddim (2229 m/ 7312 ft)
The trail from Thuman onwards become quite easy. We will follow a level path and lower down to Ling Ling(1762m). The famous RasuwagadiFort is located couple of hours far from Ling Ling village. This fort was used to defend locals from Tibetans during war. We will proceed further to the Tamang village of Briddim where we can enjoy homestay facility and closely observe Tamang culture and lifestyle while taking the taste of local food like rice, local bread, Syakpa and Tibetan tea. Stay overnight with host family in Briddim.
- Day 8
Briddim to SyabruBesi (1440 m/ 4724 ft)
We will descend through pine forest. The trail from Briddim meets with Langtang Valley Trekking Trail at Wangal. We will follow the downhill trail all the way to Syabrubesi where we will stay overnight.
- Day 9
SyabruBesi to Kathmandu (1400 m/ 4600ft)
As Tamang Heritage Trek has come to an end, we will drive back to Kathmandu. After going through bumpy rides till Dhunche, we will follow the meandering road all the way to Kathmandu where you will be transferred to hotel for comfortable stay.

Our representative will transfer you to Airport three hours prior to the scheduled flight. We hope you will have a memorable time in Nepal and we wish to serve you again.
