After visiting UNESCO sites in Kathmandu, we will start our tour by heading east from Kathmandu towards Nagarkot. The nearest hill station from Kathmandu, Nagarkot is famous for sunrise views and panoramic views of mountains including world’s tallest Everest. You will get in depth insight into history, culture and religion. We will take leisurely walk through the ancient Newari town of Dhulikhel which is clustered with temples. Dhulikhel allows you to experience natural environment. Villages located at southern end showcases ancient Newari craftsmanship at its finest. Arrival at Kathmandu (1400 m/ 4600 ft)
After landing at the airstrip of Tribhuvan International Airport, you need to move towards a line to let officials perform custom formalities. Upon completion of visa and custom formalities, you will head towards exit of Arrival Hall. Our representative will be waiting for you. Please look for your name in the placard that will be holding by our representative. He will greet you and escort you to the three-star category hotel. Welcome drinks will be served. After refreshment, you will receive briefing regarding your trek. Stay overnight in a hotel.
- Day 2
Kathmandu City Tour (1400 m/ 4600 ft)
This is the day in which you will closely observe the medieval city of Kathmandu by participating in an exciting sightseeing tour. Out of 10 UNESCO sites in Nepal, 7 lies in Kathmandu Valley while 4 of these sites exist in Kathmandu. On this day, you will visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath, holiest Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, 2500 years old Buddhist shrine of Swoyambhunath and the ancient Royal Palace at Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will get time for trek preparation and shopping in the afternoon.

Drive to Nagarkot (2175 m/ 7135 ft)
You will be picked up from hotel and we will follow Araniko Highway to Bhaktapur City. We will drive further to Nagarkot via Telkot. There are many hotels and resorts in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is the famous hill station that provides sunrise view over Everest. On a clear day, we can get views of entire Himalayan Range from Annapurna to Everest. Stay overnight in Nagarkot.
- Day 4
Nagarkot to Dhulikhel (1550m)
We will reach View Tower early in the morning for sunrise view. After breakfast, we will walk along the ridge of Nagarkot hill down to green valley. The trail continues through terraced rice field till we reach Araniko highway. From Araniko Highway, we will catch a bus to Dhulikhel. We can get spectacular sunset view from Dhulikhel. Stay overnight in lodge.
- Day 5
Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha (1810m)
We will walk through the unspoiledNewari village of Dhulikhel. We can visit Chandeswori Temple. After 6hrs of trek, we will reach Tibetan Buddhist village of Namobuddha. Namobuddha is clustered with several artistic chortens and monasteries.We will observe praying ceremony and stay overnight in gompa. We can take dinner with monks and participate in meditation in the morning.
- Day 6
Namo Buddha to Panauti (1620m), Drive to Kathmandu
Panauti is famous for orange production. We will visit Panautivillage and explore ancient temples. We can observe rural life in Panauti. After taking lunch at Panauti, we will drive back to Kathmandu.
- Day 7
Our representative will transfer you to Airport three hours prior to the scheduled flight. We hope you had a memorable time in Nepal and we wish to serve you again.
