Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Kathmandu Arrival (1400 m/ 4600 ft)
    After landing at the airstrip of Tribhuvan International Airport and finishing the official formalities, our representatives will be waiting for you at the exit of Arrival Hall with your name at the placard. He will be your escort to the hotel. After refreshment, you will receive a brief instruction regarding your trek.

  • Day 2

    Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

    This is the day in which you will be observing the medieval city Kathmandu with our tour guide. Out of 10 cultural heritage site recognized by UNESCO in Nepal, 7 lie in Kathmandu Valley while 4 of them exist in Kathmandu. You will get to visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath at Bouddha, Holy temple of Hindus Pashupatinath, 2,500 years old Buddhist shrine of Swayambhunath at Swayambhu and the ancient Royal Palace at Kathmandu Durbar Square visit with French Speaking Guide. You will get time for trek preparation and shopping in the afternoon and preparing for Budhathum.

  • Day 3

    Drive from Kathmandu to Dhading, Budhathum by Jeep or Bus.

    Departure will be around 7 am in the morning and drive to Budhathum 6 will be by a private vehicle. Lunch will be done at Dhading and buying victuals for the village. 3 hours drive from Budhathum 6, we will arrive at the village of our host guide with a welcome ritual at our arrival by the family who will be receiving us and overnight staying at the village.

  • Day 4

    Staying in Budhathum-6

    Exploring the village and meeting the people and learning about the lifestyle, traditions and customs of the village. Enjoy yourself by volunteering in the field work with the villagers as well as a visit to the school and hospital at Budhathum. You can also go fishing and goat rearing along with the villagers and learn about their culture and traditions. Along with learning and enjoying a picnic program with the villagers will also be done. Following day you can also pay a visit to the Arkhet bazaar at Budhathum village.

  • Day 5

    Staying in Budhathum-6

    Drive from Budhathum to Pokhara (827m)

    On this day a special thanks giving and rituals by the villagers for our departure from Budhathum to Pokhara. We'll be staying overnight at Pokhara.

    Rest in Pokhara (827m)

    You can take a day rest in Pokhara. Sightseeing and Trekking preparation while staying overnight at Pokhara.

  • Day 8

    Drive from Pokhara (827 m) to Phedi (1130m)

    Drive from Pokhara (915m) to Phedi (1130m) and trekking from Phedi to Pothana (1990m) takes about five hours. From this point you'll be beginning your trek to Pothana (1900 m), where the trail ascends all the way through the forests until you reach the village called Dhampus. It's a Gurung village which gives us an opportunity to view the magnificent mountains of Annapurna ranges, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. The ascent trail follows to Pothana through the forests, where we will stay overnight at a lodge.

  • Day 9

    Trek from Pothana to Ghandruk (1950m)

    Trek from Pothana to Ghandruk (1950 m/ ) takes about seven hours. First part of our trek from Pothana to Deurali gradually ascends, from Deurali our trail descends to Bheri Kharka and from there onward the path is flat till Landruk. The trail from Landruk is a steep descend till Modi River, which then ascends all the way up to Ghandruk village. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village from where you can enjoy the views of Annapurna ranges and Fishtail. And stay overnight at a lodge.

  • Day 10

    Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2650m). 4 hrs

    Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2650m) takes about four hours. The trek begins through the Gurung village with beautiful Rhododendron trees, birds chirping and welcoming the guests into their area. The stream runs down its clear and pure water as we climb up. We will come across the place named Bherikharka with some tea shops and lodges for a rest. The trek then continues with the forest of Rhododendron trees. Stay overnight at lodge.

  • Day 11

    Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2853m).

    Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2853m) takes around five hours which starts with a short decline till a small stream and then uphill through the Rhododendron trees. We will come across a place name Banthahiti with the facility of tea houses and lodges. From there, the trail ascends through the forest up to Gurung Hill and descends through the forest till Ghorepani and stay overnight.

  • Day 12

    Rest in Ghorepani and Hike to Poon Hill (3210m).

    On this day you can have your breakfast and then go to uphill trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machapuchare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other snow capped mountain peaks and stay overnight at Ghorepani.

  • Day 13

    Trek from Ghorepani to Tatopani (1189m.)

    After your breakfast you will be trekking from Ghorepani to Tatopani, which will be a gradually descending road at first and then steeper to cross the Ghar Khola. At Tatopani you can enjoy the Natural Hot Spring bath and stay overnight at Tatopani.

    Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara by bus/ jeep, takes about 6 hours

    .Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara by bus/ jeep, takes around 6 hours. While your ride you can also enjoy the natural beauty of the Forest Mountains, and many more. And stay overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 15

    A day rest in Pokhara.

    While in Pokhara also known as the cities of lakes, you can visit Fewa Tal for a boat ride. And also, visit The Mahendra cave, a 10 minutes drive from the main city and also visit the bat cave that shelters about 15,000+ species of bat with the images of elephant tusks, gods and goddess. You can also visit the International Mountain Museum with the information on the entire mountaineering stuffs and also the mountains of Nepal, including the culture and lifestyle of mountain people, flora and fauna including the geology, in an attempt to represent the Nepali lifestyle, traditional culture and value of the Nepalese people. And in the evening, you can visit the city with the same experience as in Thamel.

  • Day 16

    Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

    Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus takes around seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you'll head up to Damauli to Dumre to Mugling and to Kurintar where Nepal’s first Cable car was operated to reach to Manakamana Temple that is across 3 mountains. En route, you can enjoy the greenery of the mountain, rice fields and vegetable fields with people engaged for their daily life activities. From Naubise we drive up to Thankot, The gateway to capital city Kathmandu.

  • Day 17

    Visit to Bouddhanath

    On this day we will visit the Bouddhanath stupa with a French speaking guide at Bouddha. You can also get souvenir for your family at Thamel in the afternoon or evening.

  • Day 18

    Visit to Bhaktapur with a French guide.

    You can visit some of the famous places in Bhaktapur with our French speaking guide like the 55 window palace also known as the Pachpanna Jhyale Durbar, The Batsala Temple, Bhairava Nath Temple, The Golden Gate, The Lion's Gate and The Mini Pashupatinath Temple.     Final Departure.

    Our representative will drop you at the Airport three hours prior to the scheduled flight. We hope you will have a memorable time with us in Nepal and wish to serve you again.
